NOVEL FACIAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM WITH 99.15% ACCURACY
In olden days, We thought oxygen is the most important to live. But now not only oxygen we need another one called "TECHNOLOGY". This technology should produce security otherwise it is not going to hit in the world.
Recently researchers developed a novel facial recognition system that provides
99.15% accuracy level, When it works with real world scenario. This
accuracy level used to identify the terrorists,thief from surveillance
videos. Another use of the novel recognizing impostors at ATM machines, and
automatically tagging, face images uploaded to social networking sites. The best feature of the novel facial recognition is a completely open door or open source technology because we can implement it in various
application where the security needs.
The system could help law enforcement and security agencies to seek
out individuals among a crowd of thousands. Traditional video
surveillance can only focus on a small number of objects in a very
simple environment. With the new system the users can target thousands
of objects in very complex environments. It simulates human brain’s behaviours
by training large scale neural networks from big data based on
intensive graphics processing unit computing.
The novel facial
recognition system that with the highest accuracy in the world. While
humans recognize faces at an accuracy rating of 97.53% on Labeled Faces
in the Wild, the recognition system developed by CUHK was tested using
thousands of picture sets, and it can recognize faces at an accuracy of
99.15%, regardless of changes in lighting, make-up and camera angles.

My View
This(Facial Recognition) kind of projects are really needing the Hadoop eco system to manage the captured images and process those images in an efficient manner. Inputs are given as unstructured data format to the facial recognition system. Unstructured data are superbly handled by Hadoop than other technologies.Reference website:
