Microsoft to help developers add more apps to the Windows ecosystem in India
Microsoft which began its premier technology event for developers, IT professionals, entrepreneurs and students in Bengaluru has said that its initiatives to help developers and IT professionals in app development add more apps to the Windows ecosystem.
Microsoft is currently making significant investments in working with 1.2-million developers worldwide (the second-largest developer ecosystem) and over 1000 Independent Software Vendors to empower them with the tools, technologies and training required to develop high-end skills and to compete in a global marketplace.
Microsoft India general manager Joseph Landes said that Microsoft has played a major catalyst in honing high-end skills of ISVs, IT professionals and students.
As a result of this, our partners have greater opportunity to create modern apps (applications) connected to cloud services that make information more accessible to users on any device at any time," he added.
The company has taken initiatives like 'Tech Days,' the 'I Unlock Joy,' 'Mobile Acceleration Week' and the first-ever women app developers event in India to affirm its commitment to India, According to DNA.
